We are naming this fund after the late Bishop Roland Abou Jaoudé (1930-2019), whom many of our elder Alumni very well remember, in commemoration of his contributions to SJS in his capacity as Rector between 1963 and 1975 prior to his ordinance as Bishop.
Under the leadership of Bishop Roland, SJS grew to become the leading Anglo-Saxon Catholic School in the region, attracting students from all over Lebanon and surrounding countries.
We invite you to reflect upon the great achievements of a dedicated visionary who has nurtured our community with faith, love and devotion, making a great impact on the future of every one of us.
This is our moment to step up and carry the flame by alleviating some of the burdens facing parents and, consequently, easing the school’s finances so it may remain loyal to its mission.
The Fund objectives
- Raising USD 50,000 to fund tuition for more than 350 students (Direct).
- Assisting the school management in meeting its financial obligations before the closure of the scholastic year (Indirect).
